Elixir

Okay, so I just finished this really good book. Its kind of a romantic novel :) by Hilary Duff. It had a cliff hanger ending (Gee thanks Hilary!!!) but I thought it was good except for that. Not top ten material but it was okay. Never thought a actress/singer could write such a grip-holding story. So anyway, the book is sorta otherworldly. It has recarnation of souls and eternal life liquid. And there are some gross parts. But not as bad as in Lord of the Flies *cough* *cough* richard *cough* *cough* but overall a good one day read.

BTW, my fav character is Rayna, and not just cuz of her gorgeous hair like mine :)

  1. let me list my responses:
    1. you are still trying to keep this blog about books?
    2. LotF is not gross. it leaves much to the imagination of the reader, as all good books do. If the readers head thinks in gross ways, then it would appear that way when you read.
    3. Don't you think your BTW is not only prideful, but widely debatable. And that is for all three parts-fav character, her appearance, your appearance

  3. i never said i wasn't prideful. There is evil in all of us. that is the moral of LotF. Since you referenced the book, i took the opportunity to show proof of its main message. I wrote an essay on the topic, i know what i am talking about.

  5. What about Jack did you write about? maybe about what he symbolizes in contrast to what Ralph and Piggy symbolize? because that is a very important part of the book.

  7. Richard-i only had to write what interested or fascinated me about Jack. yah, i know what they all symbolize, but i didnt need to put that in my paper.

    Alicia-I soooooooo agree.

  8. we don't have to argue. you can either accept me being right or convince me otherwise. arguing only happens when you choose not to accept me as right, yet can't prove me otherwise.

as for the symbolism, i only asked because i wanted to make sure you understood that part. because you will likely be tested on it. or at least you should. it is very important
