I re-watched a sweet, cute movie that my sister got for her birthday. TANGLED!!! I love that movie. My favorite part is this:
- Flynn: "Rapunzel"
- Rapunzel: "What?"
- Flynn: "You were my new dream."
- Rapunzel (crying): "And you were mine."
dont judge! i like romantic stuff, sometimes. depends, really. but im open minded.
i did not say it was just about books. i asked if you were trying to keep it all books. now i know that you can slightly broaden your range.
ReplyDeleteTangled was very predictable. That was my main issue. I saw ALL the jokes/anything funny coming.
jojo's sister: It's fun to know what is going to happen cuz then u feel like the director. so there!
ReplyDeletebut if it is too predictable, it loses that realistic touch. If I could almost write the story myself, how can I believe that it could happen? Of course, that movie had many unrealistic elements, so it was never very believable.
ReplyDeletethat made NOOOO sense.
ReplyDeleteit was too predictable. that made me feel like it wasn't real. but the movie also had a lot of unrealistic characteristics as well. and i am not just talking about the witchcraft.
ReplyDeletestop being a downer and just go with it
ReplyDeletei agree 100% with Alicia!!! love ya, girl <3
ReplyDeletehey, richard. u dont believe in true love then? or dreams coming true? i personally think that they are real. and its an amazing feeling. so why wouldnt peoples write about it? realistic or not?
ReplyDeleteyou have really opened a can of worms JoJo.
ReplyDelete1. i never said that true love, dreams coming true, or anything else specifically was unrealistic. if you want a specific list, just ask.
2. If you believe that a girl who has lived in a tower all her life, is raised by a witch who stole her from her parents, is a princess, and is fascinated by a ritual that is in her honor, though she doesn't know it seems realistic, good for you. But if you still believe that one day a thief will stumble upon her tower while the witch happened to be away, will be able to climb into the tower, and will just so happen to be the perfect match for the girl is realistic, i would have to disagree based upon the chances of it happening. and you may come with certain scenarios against me, but i assure you that i will have a response to all of them. then this will become a never ending argument.
3. i am sure meeting a "true love" whatever that means (as it is open to individual interpretation) is a wonderful experience as it the fulfillment of dreams, but you also need to remain anchored into reality. fantasy is great, but eventually what does happen must take precedence to what you want to happen. that is why fantasy is so popular, because it is the way people wish life could be.
4. as i didn't say they were unrealistic, any retorts to 2-3 are not needed.
jojo's sister:
ReplyDeletewhy can't y'all just say it was a good, but not the most realistic movie
anyway richard a girl can dream!
it was a good movie, it had more humor than most Cinderella, or in this case Rapunzel, stories. it is just, in the setting it is placed, things don't quiet fit.
ReplyDeletehaha nice spelling error, genius. but i dont really care. just pointing it out.
ReplyDeletethank you JoJo. as they are both words, my spell check didn't catch that.
ReplyDelete"things don't quite fit"
hey, its all good, man.
